  • Community emergency response team Training

Incorporate CERT Training into your Emergency Operation Plan to help ensure continuity of government, business or your organization! CERT training consists of 24 hours of training and the program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Using the training learned in the classroom and during exercises, CERT members can assist others in their neighborhood or workplace following an event when professional responders are not immediately available to help. CERT members also are encouraged to support emergency response agencies by taking a more active role in emergency preparedness projects in their community.                              

  • CPR/AED  & First aid Training

If a co-worker, family member or friend encountered a cardiac or first aid emergency, would you know how to respond quickly and appropriately? We can help...Certified under the American Heart Association, our Instructors are active Firefighter/Paramedics. Our staff will come to your place of business and provide life saving training in CPR/AED (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/Automated  External Defibrillation) training as well as basic first aid. Help increase the survival rate of someone experiencing a cardiac arrest by training your staff to act appropriately in emergencies with a higher probability to save someone's life. 

  • incident Command System Training - "ICS"

​​As a system, ICS is extremely useful; not only does it provide an organizational structure for incident management but it also guides the process for planning, building and adapting that structure. Using ICS for every incident or planned event helps hone and maintain skills needed for the large-scale incidents.Our staff is certified through FEMA as Instructors of the Incident Command System and are available to assist your organization in all of your ICS needs and requirements.

The Incident Command System (ICS) is a standardized, on-scene, all-hazards incident management approach that:

  • ​​Allows for the integration of facilities, equipment, personnel, procedures and communications operating within a common organizational structure.
  • Enables a coordinated response among various jurisdictions and functional agencies, both public and private.
  • Establishes common processes for planning and managing resources.​​​

  • fire extinguisher training

Is your staff trained to extinguish a small fire before it gets big enough to destroy your office and your vital information? EMCS provides fire extinguisher training as a separate component of CERT training. Our experienced staff of Firefighters will come to your place of business to provide this training in an environmentally friendly method.


  • Active shooter preparedness

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) aims to enhance preparedness through a ”whole community” approach by providing training, products,

and resources to a broad range of stakeholders on issues such as active shooter awareness, incident response, and workplace violence. In many cases, there is no pattern or method to the selection of victims by an active shooter, and these situations are by their very nature unpredictable and evolve quickly. EMCS offers courses, materials, and workshops to better prepare your agency to deal with an active shooter situation and to raise awareness of behaviors that represent pre-incident indicators and characteristics of active shooters.
